As reported by CNN, two Amish men were intercepted in Ohio recently, drinking beer while operating a traditional horse and buggy.

The buggy was carrying a 12 pack of Michelob Ultra, and the buggy itself was fitted with a giant stereo system.

Trumbull County Sheriff's Department Deputy Eric Hermsdorfer intercepted the buggy in the early hours of 15 September 2019.

While attempting to stop the buggy to question the consumption of beer while driving, the two men jumped from the buggy and fled into the nearby forest.

The horse pulling they buggy also fled, but Deputy Hermsdorfer was able to catch up and take it into custody.

The two men remain at large.

In Queensland, persons can be charged for operating any self-propelled device with a blood alcohol percentage above 0.05.
